A juxtaposition is “the act of placing things side by side, especially for the purpose of comparison or contrast”
An angel besides a streetlamp is thrown into sharp contrast by all the light.
This statue was actually at a square. The angle takes in the statue, the circular building at the rear and the dome of a third building rearmost.
The moon and the Colosseum together side by side…
Oh Boy! A Weekly Photo Challenge that had me pick up the thesaurus too see whether I’d understood it correctly! ( I had …incase you were wondering! Mah english ain’t that bad… ) Then some night photography I had tried in Rome struck me and I rummaged through my shoebox for them…Here they are and I juxtaposed them in a gallery 😀
