My camera is not a very advanced one so experimenting with the macro mode can sometimes be frustrating and sometimes great fun. Also once in a while I click a shot that may not be fabulous technically but still gives me great joy…a sense of doing a good job! This orange Gerbera with its petals undulating in a slight breeze from the window is one such click.
P.S. Shot at my house.

Sue’s A Word A Week: Undulate (adjective Undulate: having a wavy surface or edge)
ok – 3 things I loved about this post.
first, the awesome quote: Put flowers in a room and suddenly you will feel more at home…with the room and your own self too.
Second – what you said, how sometimes pics may not come out in the tech area, but they bring us great joy – oh spoken with such wisdom – 😉 and some of my most joyful pics are those that most would feel anything at all. lol
and third, great photo – for the two themes – and just for the beauty – with all that orange – hints of yellow and that center of green – (from my view at least).
😀 I think sometimes the Muse sends a few words floating my way…especially when it comes to flowers…I had another Eureka Quote moment for the ‘Windows’ weekly photo challenge. And I also think the cheerful orange, yellow and yes green too brightened the room like anything…Thanks!
awesome shot…
Thanks! 😀
I like taking macro a lot too. The macro on my camera stop working so I have not taken lately. Nice photo!
I hope your camera is repaired soon and you continue with your macro shots…thanks for dropping by!
Great shot!
Thanks!
Very cool! I like the bright color of the flower!
Thanks Amy!
It’s a beautiful macro you shot!!! Thanks ever so much for playing and experimenting!
Thanks Cee! Appreciate the encouragement coming from all…especially you!
