A Photo A Week Challenge: From Color to B&W

A new challenge this week folks!  Nancy Merrill Photography hosts a weekly challenge with a new theme every time. This week’s theme is ‘From Colour to B&W’.

 Also Ed at EdMooneyPhotography puts up reworked B&W photos every Wednesday. This one’s a bit inspired from his entry this week. I did a feature a couple of posts with monochromatic photos sometime back ( Hue & Oh My! & BFFs??Sure! ). But there were no coloured and B&W variants to compare. Let me know what you think…which one’s better?

P.S. Photograph taken on a recent trip to Goa. My husband patiently indulged my Fad of stopping every 500 yards to click at random subjects, in hope of capturing a few good shots! Oh and though the web describes ‘Fad’ as ‘an intense and widely shared enthusiasm for something, especially one that is short-lived; a craze.’ I think my craze of photography isn’t going to be short lived… Check out what other are crazy about on the Daily Post.
